Metal skeletons,
Metal minds,

Envy of the ice.

Between unconditional love

Dionysus would be proud
Of the sweetness softly sinking
Into the tissues of my throat

i have chosen to smile Dandelions drift and tangle in my hair
Reminding me that it is spring, and
Butterflies trace the scent of cherry blossoms
Gently; a fingertip, an eyelid, a soft kiss –
It is spring and I am young, hopeful,
Staring at swifts overhead and softly
Wondering if such beauty really isn't

a reflection This cold settles like volcanic ash
I am a cocoon, emulating victims
Of Vesuvius. It is so easy
To recline in the impression left
Behind, becoming bare bones because
The stomach is not made of marrow.

It would be so easy to forget the taste of
Calories, forget the taste of dust
On a parched tongue – though
These desert footprints are bloodied.
But once night settles, nothing
Will matter, not at all, because
Tonight, all the mirror shows is

Strip Undressing
we are either
children or ancients:

shedding clothes we
become classical
gradually,

stark
white marble
archetypes

young again and
with a little
of that

old fire in us,
the hungry reverence
for smooth and impersonal

beauty
that has
launched ships and moved mountains,

sacred geometry
in the bones.

Undressing
we become aware of what is huge and terrifying,
the blank expanse

of our own skins,
the flesh that belongs
to myth and to history

and not to us,
not to keep
as if upon dying

we slip into nothing,

remains.

Mood: Hungry
Listening to: Drop Dead, Gorgeous

Cause I looked at my page and realised my last entry was almost half a year ago...
I've been writing more, and will post some of it. Apologies for being kind of dead/hibernating/sleeping/zombie before. Not so busy with school yet so I have time, ish. Not keen for the busy part to kick in though, year13s gonna be UGH work-wise...
Also I may post some visual arts stuffs, if I do some non school art-related stuffs and can be bothered.
And yeah, that's me. How've you all been~
